Yes, an interview is required and you may have to complete an initial assessment to ensure your skills are suitable for the level of the course.

During your Access course you will be given advice, guidance and support in identifying and applying for appropriate higher education programmes to enable your successful transition to University.

What are the course outcomes?
Access certificate of at least sixty credits of which at least forty-five should be at Level 3 and fifteen to Level 2 to progress to Higher Education.
How will you be assessed?
Assessment will be through: essays, classroom-based tests, oral presentations and written reports. There are no final examinations. Students will be expected to undertake at least 16 hours of self-directed study per week. |
