In June, students are due to go to to Auschwitz to cover a two-day historical trip. The trip is sponsored by the Chesterhill Charitable Trust LTD.
The aim is to provide this incredible educational opportunity and increase students basic understanding of a horrifying time in our history to another level. By actually visiting Auschwitz and Birkenau concentration camps in person, and hearing the facts explained by professional guides, the students will enhance their learning and understanding of these tragic events and be able to share their newfound knowledge with their peers and family members.
The trip will take place on 28th and 29th June. Five students have been nominated by staff to attend the trip as a reward for demonstrating high standards of commitment and achievement. The students will be accompanied by the Head of Student Services.
