THE TURING SCHEME

Fully Funded Educational Trip
with Work Placement
Experience FRANCE for FREE!

Stanmore College now offers students an amazing opportunity to go on a 15-day work experience trip (yes, some time for enrichment too!) to Harrow’s twin town, Douai, in Northern France.

This is open to study programme students who have:

  • attendance above 85%
  • freedom to travel as regards residency/eligibility (if it’s just that they don’t have a passport staff help students to apply)
  • no exams on the dates of the trips (if the dates clash with a BTEC/GCSE exam that takes priority)
  • checked with parents/guardians and obtained their approval.

Students do NOT have to be able to speak French to go on this trip.

  • Travel, meals and work placement are provided.

Stanmore 16-18 year old students get a chance to apply to be one of a considerable number of students embarking on these trips.

This is a life-changing experience with the chance to develop new skills, gain vital international experience and boost students’ employability.

Students can also develop a wide range of soft skills, language skills and a better understanding of other cultures.

The Turing Scheme will contribute to the UK Government’s commitment to a Global Britain.
