IT Courses

Basic IT- 26th June 2018/ 7th March 2018/21/05/2018/24th July 2018
This three day course will help you to learn basic IT skills, including an introduction to the internet, Microsoft Word and creating documents and files.

BTEC Entry Level 3 Award for IT Users (ITQ) 28th March 2018
This two week course will take place from Monday-Friday. The Edexcek BTEC Entry Level 3 Award for IT users (ITQ) (QCF) is a 6-credit and 45 -55 guided learning hour (GLH) qualification consisting of optional units. Atleast 4 credits must be at Entry Level 3. Topics include: IT User Fundamentals, Using the Internet, Using Mobile IT Devices, Using Email, Desktop Publishing Software, Presentation Software, Spreadsheet Software, Word Processing Software, Design and Imaging Software, The Internet and World Wide Web and Digital Lifestyle.Campus: Stanmore

BTEC Level 1 Award for IT Users (ITQ)- 25th April 2018
This three and a half week course takes place from Monday to Friday. The Edexcel BTEC Level 1 Award for IT users (ITQ) (QCF) is a 9-credit and 60-75 guided learning hour (GLH) qualification consisting of optional units. Atleast 6 credits must be at Level 1. Topics include Improving Productivity using IT, IT User Fundamentals, Setup and IT System, Optimise IT System Performance, IT Security for Users, IT Communications Fundamentals, Using the Intranet, Using Mobile IT Devices, Using Email, Personal Information Management Software, Using Collaborative Technologies, Audio Software, Video Software, Bespoke Software, Specialist Software, Computerised AccountingSoftware, Database Software, Data Management Software and Design Software.

ESOL

ESOL Pre-Entry 1-19th June 2018 This is a 6 week course, taking place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This course is for learners with no knowledge of English and will teach you the basics of English, writing and spelling simple words, reading English and preparing you for life in the UK.

ESOL Pre-Entry 2- 8th June 2018
This course is more advance than Pre-Entry Level 1, designed to teach advanced English and phrases used in everday life. It will cover reading and writing, aiming to build your confidence in spoken English on a daily basis.

This two day course is designed to give you an insight into techniques for building and preserving self-confidence and high self-esteem. The goal is to equip you with tools and tricks necessary to maintain control, appearing confident, even in situations that actually make you uncomfortable.
