Stanmore College is a small further education college in the London borough of Harrow.  It delivers education and training programmes to more than 1200 young people and 2000 adults.

The Board of Governors is looking for an efficient and professional person with suitable qualifications for the post of Clerk to the Corporation.  You will be responsible to the Board for the management and conduct of their meetings, for carrying out Corporation business on their behalf and for advising and supporting Corporation Members as appropriate.

You will have excellent administrative, interpersonal and communication skills and will have experience of working in the further education sector in a similar role. You need to work in the College for 2 days per week and be flexible with working hours as most meetings take place in the evening.  Attendance at meetings of the Board and its key committees is essential.

We are looking for 0.8 lecturer to teach across a range of Accountancy courses to both 16 – 19 year old students and adults, ranging from Level 1 – Level 4.

You must be enthusiastic and highly motivated, have a flexible approach to work and be able to work as a member of team.

Applicants must have a relevant degree, a full teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed/DTLLS) and an Internal Verifier Award.  Recent experience of teaching the relevant subject in a school, FE college or adult learning institution is essential.

An inspiring, innovative, dynamic and enthusiastic Lecturer is required to start in September to join an established IT team
